Nagoya July 6 ---Mie Prefecture Residents will soon have access to a brand new collection of outstanding American childrens' books at Kuwana City's Nagashima Waju Library as well as continuing programs in the future on issues related to the United States.

Mr. Iwao Moriyama, Director the Nagashima Waju Library and Consulate Nagoya Principal Officer Daniel Rochman signed a memorandum of understanding July 6 to promote expanding the availability of information about the United States and programs concerning American issues for Waju-area citizens. As part of the agreement, the Nagoya American Center will donate a collection of approximately 260 specially selected and classic American children's books to the library.
