Tourism and Regional Economic Revitalization
Nagoya, April 16 - University of Hawaii School of Travel Industry Management Dean Walter Jamieson spoke about tourism development and how to promote tourism through private sector/government cooperation at the Nagoya Congress Center.
Using Hawaii as an example, Dr. Jamieson stated that communities and tourism companies must find a balance of interests and focus on quality and authenticity of destinations to promote tourism that leads to true economic revitalization.
