
Deputy Chief of Mission Meets with Central Japan’s Press
Nagoya, October 29 - U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission James Zumwalt met with journalists from Nagoya newspapers to discuss U.S.-Japan relations.
During the press roundtable, Mr. Zumwalt stated that regardless of who wins next week’s U.S. presidential election, the U.S.-Japan bilateral relationship will continue to grow.
Mr. Zumwalt also highlighted the importance of U.S.-Japan cooperation on various international issues including the stabilization of financial markets and the promotion of peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of East Asia through the Six-Party Talks process.
