Nagoya Witnesses American Presidential History in the Making

Nagoya, November 5 - Consulate Principal Officer Max Kwak hosted U.S. presidential election watch party at his residence.

Consulate contacts including Japanese scholars, journalists and government representatives, in addition to assorted Americans living in the Nagoya area, watched the results come in as they enjoyed a traditional American breakfast.

Watching a live Armed Forces Network feed of assorted American news channels, guests witnessed the historic moment when America’s first African-American president was announced.
