
Students in Nagoya Gather for International Education Week
Nagoya, November 20 - Students from many of Central Japan’s top universities gathered for a digital video conference with college students in Washington, DC and other parts of Japan.
During the video conference, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Raymond Simon and scholars from America and Japan discussed the role of new media in political participation among young voters.
Following the formal presentations, students from Nagoya and the other locations asked the speakers questions related to youth participation in politics.
