Hamamatsu, Kanazawa, Dec 12-14 - The Nagoya American Center worked with local sponsors to host famous American pianist Gustavo Romero for full houses in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture and Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture.

Honoring the 110th anniversary of American composer George Gershwin's birth, Mr. Romero played favorites including "Rhapsody in Blue," and a modern rendition of "Porgy and Bess."

Midori Music Planning in Hamamatsu and the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Fine Art made these events possible.
