Nissin, January 21 - American film director Aaron Woolfolk discussed his experiences as a Japanese English Teaching (JET) program participant and his work on the upcoming movie “Harimaya Bridge” at the Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences.

Drawing from his experiences living as a JET in Kochi Prefecture in the 1990s, Mr. Woolfolk wrote and directed “Harimaya Bridge,” starring Danny Glover and Saki Takaoka.

The movie tells the story of an African-American man from San Francisco seeking the truth about the life and death of his son in a rural Japanese town.
