Central Japan, April 19-23 - Pacific Trends, a part of the US Air Force Band of the Pacific Asia, performed for packed venues in Central Japan.

Performing American pop, Motown and R&B hits, as well as a few modern and traditional Japanese tunes, the band wowed local audiences with energetic shows.

The band’s performances at the Nagashima-Waju Library in Mie and at the Kakamigahara City Hall in Gifu were part of the Nagoya American Center’s American Shelf Program of cultural performances.

In addition to these performances, the band also performed in Hamamatsu, Ogaki, and Kakegawa City.

Formed in 1941, the US Air Force Band of the Pacific-Asia performs in front of audiences throughout the region to increase public understanding of the US Air Force and American music.
