Principal Officer Discusses the Obama Administration and the Strength of Diversity in America

Nagoya, June 19 - US Consulate Nagoya Principal Officer Max Kwak participated in a panel lecture on the Obama Administration at Nanzan University.

Mr. Kwak spoke about the importance of diversity in America and highlighted diversity in Obama’s cabinet.

Prominent American Studies professors, including Fumiaki Kubo from the University of Tokyo and Kunio Ishida from Nanzan University, also participated in the event.

The panelists discussed Obama’s background, the Administration's reaction to the global economic downturn, and President Obama’s Cairo speech on US relations with the Muslim world.
